My Super Glue Baby

You know how people say "I'm sticking to my family like glue" or "our bond is stronger than glue", stuff like that? Well, I took a different approach to the whole glue comparison.

My daughter is my glue. She's not just any regular glue, she's my super glue. Let me explain something about super glue. Super glue is very convenient and is a must have around the house. You'll never know when you'll need it. Besides, the stuff works wonders and is very strong. I LOVE IT!

On the flip side, super glue can be a pain. I once got some on my hands and it didn't come off for about 2 weeks. For the same reason super glue is amazing it's also bad. Here's where I'm going with this. Being a mother is so rewarding and the best thing ever, but it can also be very exhausting.

Like super glue motherhood has it's ups and downs. Loving your child so much can actually be very draining which is the downfall. You constantly worry about your child's health, well-being, developmental process and a load of other things. Loving your child to the fullest extent is very overwhelming, but awesome!

Leave it to the #WeirdMom to compare her child to super glue. This is what happens when you're laying in bed trying to remove super glue from your finger nails. Admit it, it's a pretty good analogy!

  1. Its a very good analogy. The best thing about super glue is that it has the ability to put broken pieces back together.
